Zimpler Casino – Best Casinos With Zimpler

Zimpler lets you deposit at a casino straight from your bank account and get winnings paid back the same way, usually within minutes. If you last used it a few years ago, it has changed almost completely: the phone-number-and-text-code service is gone, replaced by a bank-login payment, and since March 2026 Zimpler has been part of TrueLayer, one of Europe's largest pay-by-bank networks.

This guide explains how Zimpler works today, where you can use it, what Zimpler Go and its new Swish integration mean for players, and how it compares with Trustly.

What is Zimpler?

Zimpler is a Swedish payment institution that connects your online bank to merchants such as casinos, so you can pay and receive money without a card or an e-wallet balance. It is licensed by Finansinspektionen, the Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority, and specialises in instant account-to-account payments and payouts, with iGaming as one of its core sectors.

A Zimpler casino is simply a casino that offers Zimpler in its cashier. At some casinos it also powers registration-free onboarding through Zimpler Go, which works like Pay N Play.

From text messages to bank payments: how Zimpler changed

Many casino guides still describe Zimpler as a pay-by-phone service where you type your mobile number and confirm with a code. That was accurate once. Here’s how the product evolved:

  • 2012: founded in Sweden as PugglePay by Johan Friis and Kristofer Ekman Sinclair, as a mobile payment service.
  • 2013-2014: launched an invoice product and expanded to Finland.
  • 2016: rebranded as Zimpler.
  • 2017: received its payment institution licence from Finansinspektionen.
  • 2018-2020: shifted from its wallet and invoice model to direct account-to-account payments, which became its entire focus.
  • 2019: launched Zimpler Go for registration-free casino onboarding, along with spending controls.
  • 2022-2023: opened offices in Malta and São Paulo, expanding into Brazil.
  • September 2025: launched Swish payments and Swish payouts for merchants in Sweden.
  • October 2025: TrueLayer, the London-based pay-by-bank network, agreed to buy Zimpler.
  • 3 March 2026: the acquisition completed after approval from Finansinspektionen. Zimpler continues to operate under its own name while the two networks integrate.

What this means for you: if a site still asks for your phone number and offers to send you an invoice for a casino deposit, it isn’t describing the current Zimpler casino product. And gambling on invoice or credit is exactly what regulated markets have moved to stop. Sweden prohibits licensed casinos from offering credit for gambling.

How to deposit with Zimpler

  1. Choose Zimpler in the casino cashier.
  2. Enter the amount. Minimums are set by the casino, commonly around €10. See our guide to minimum deposit casinos for low-entry options.
  3. Select your bank and log in with its usual method: BankID in Sweden, your bank’s app or codes elsewhere.
  4. Choose the account to pay from.
  5. Authorise the payment. The money is credited to your casino balance immediately.

Your banking credentials stay with your bank. The casino never sees them, and there’s no card number to store or steal.

How to withdraw with Zimpler

Withdrawals follow the same route in reverse. Choose Zimpler in the cashier, enter the amount, confirm the bank account, and the casino sends the payout once it has approved the request. Zimpler usually transfers the money within minutes of that approval. Most of any delay comes from the casino’s own approval process, not from Zimpler; our guide to fast payout casinos explains where withdrawal time really goes.

Two practical tips: use a bank account in your own name, spelled exactly as on your casino profile, and withdraw to the same account you deposited from. Both are standard anti-money-laundering requirements, and a mismatch is a common reason for payouts being rejected.

How to Deposit with Zimpler

Zimpler Go: casino play without registration

Zimpler Go combines deposit, identity verification and account creation in one bank login, the same principle as Trustly’s Pay N Play. Your bank confirms who you are, the casino creates your account in the background, and you start playing with no registration form.

You’re still fully verified. Your bank simply supplies the data instead of you uploading documents, which is also why the first withdrawal rarely gets held up. Whether Zimpler Go is available depends on the casino and its licence, so look for a deposit box on the homepage rather than a sign-up form. Our Pay N Play casino guide explains the model, its limits and how to check that a site offers it genuinely.

Zimpler and Swish

For Swedish players, the most interesting recent change is Swish. In September 2025 Zimpler launched Swish payments and Swish payouts for merchants, integrating directly with the Swish network as a payment institution. In practice, this lets casinos that use Zimpler offer Swish, Sweden’s dominant mobile payment app, without setting it up through a bank. Where a casino has switched it on, you can pay with Swish and receive payouts to it. Availability depends on the individual casino.

Where can you use Zimpler?

Zimpler lists its operating area as Sweden, Finland, Norway, Germany, the Netherlands, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania, with Sweden and Finland its strongest casino markets. Coverage of bank accounts is high in its core countries, but not every bank is connected. If yours isn’t shown when you choose Zimpler, it isn’t supported.

Whether a casino can offer Zimpler to you also depends on its licence. Zimpler works mainly with operators licensed for the markets it serves, such as Swedish-licensed casinos and those licensed by the Malta Gaming Authority.

Is Zimpler safe?

Yes. Zimpler is a regulated payment institution supervised by Finansinspektionen, and since 2026 it is part of TrueLayer, itself a regulated pay-by-bank provider. Payments are authorised inside your own bank using strong customer authentication, and the casino receives neither your bank login nor card details.

As with any payment method, Zimpler can’t make an unreliable casino trustworthy. Check the casino’s licence, its withdrawal terms and our casino blacklist before depositing.

Zimpler vs Trustly vs other methods

Zimpler’s closest competitor is Trustly. For players the experience is nearly identical; the difference is mostly which one your casino offers.

Zimpler Trustly E-wallets (e.g. Skrill, MuchBetter) Paysafecard Visa debit
How it works Pay by bank Pay by bank Stored wallet balance Prepaid voucher Card payment
Separate account No No Yes No No
Deposit speed Instant Instant Instant Instant Instant
Withdrawal Minutes after approval Minutes after approval Often within 24 hours Not supported 1-3 business days
Registration-free option Zimpler Go Pay N Play No No No
Strongest markets Sweden, Finland Sweden, Finland, wider Europe, UK Worldwide Europe Worldwide
Owner TrueLayer (UK) Trustly Group AB (Sweden) Various Paysafe Group Visa

If you also bet on sports, see our guide to Zimpler betting sites. For bank payments beyond Zimpler and Trustly, our open banking casino guide covers the wider category, and our overview of casino payment methods compares every option.

Fees and limits

Zimpler doesn’t charge players for deposits or withdrawals; the casino pays the processing fee. Your bank may charge for currency conversion if your account currency differs from the casino’s. Deposit and withdrawal limits are set by the casino, so check its cashier and terms, especially if you’re playing for larger amounts.

Bonuses at Zimpler casinos

Zimpler deposits normally qualify for welcome offers in the same way as any other method. What decides whether a bonus is worth taking is the fine print: the multiplier, what it’s calculated on, the maximum bet and the time limit. Our guide to wagering requirements shows how to work out the real cost, and many Nordic Zimpler casinos offer no-wagering bonuses if you’d rather avoid playthrough altogether. At Swedish-licensed casinos, bonuses are only allowed on your first gaming occasion.

Pros

  • Instant deposits and fast withdrawals, usually within minutes of casino approval.
  • No card, wallet or extra account. You pay directly from your bank.
  • Your banking credentials never reach the casino.
  • Registration-free play at casinos using Zimpler Go.
  • Swish support for Swedish players where casinos enable it.
  • Regulated in Sweden and now backed by one of Europe's largest pay-by-bank networks.

Cons

  • Limited to northern and central Europe, and only with supported banks.
  • Less widespread than Trustly outside the Nordics.
  • Gambling transactions appear on your bank statement.
  • Deposits are so quick that limits matter more.
  • Integration with TrueLayer is ongoing, so product details may change during 2026.

2: Trickz Casino

Trickz Casino is our absolute favourite Zimpler casino. They have a great first deposit bonus, free spins, and of course, you can make deposits and withdrawals using Zimpler. This spot was taken from Busterbanks as they had to close down their business.

When you use Zimpler at Trickz, you will not only be rewarded with free spins and a great bonus. But also the vast veracity of casino games. Another good thing about Trickz is that they allow players from many different parts of the world and fast payouts. Absolute top Zimpler casino site!

  • Besides being a Zimpler casino, they also offer other payment methods such as Trustly, Sofort and casino with Interac!

3: Gemler Casino

Gemler casino is a fun and slick online casino that accepts Zimpler. This online casino will give you a big chunk of casino bonuses and lots of fun games in their mobile casino.

Gemler casino is all about simplicity but comes only in two languages, which can be considered a con. Massive VIP programs and tournaments are available for loyal players however and besides Zimpler there are payment methods such as Muchbetter or even Interac.

Who Zimpler suits

A good choice if you:

  • bank in Sweden or Finland, or another country Zimpler covers;
  • want fast payouts without an e-wallet in between;
  • like the idea of registration-free play through Zimpler Go;
  • use Swish and your casino supports it.

Consider something else if you:

  • live outside Zimpler’s markets;
  • want casino spending kept separate from your main account (an e-wallet or prepaid method does this);
  • want a hard spending cap built into the payment itself.

Playing responsibly with Zimpler

Zimpler was one of the first casino payment providers to build spending controls into its service, launched alongside Zimpler Go in 2019. Use them if your casino and Zimpler flow offer them, and set a deposit limit in the casino itself either way. Swedish players are protected by Spelpaus, which blocks deposits at all Swedish-licensed casinos once you register. Our guide on how to ban yourself from gambling explains the options, and our stop gambling page lists where to get support.

Summary

Zimpler is no longer a pay-by-phone service. Today it’s a regulated Swedish pay-by-bank provider, part of TrueLayer since March 2026, offering instant deposits, withdrawals that usually arrive within minutes of approval, registration-free play through Zimpler Go, and Swish for Swedish players where casinos enable it.

Its limits are geography and the casino itself: it only works where your bank is connected, and it can’t make a slow or unfair casino better. Check that Zimpler appears in the cashier for both deposits and withdrawals, confirm the licence, and set your limits before you start. If you want the broadest bank-payment coverage, compare it with Trustly; if you want to skip registration entirely, look for a Pay N Play casino or browse our overview of casinos without an account.

FAQ: Zimpler casinos

Zimpler is a Swedish payment institution that lets you pay and receive money directly from your bank account. At casinos, you log in to your bank to deposit, and winnings are paid back to the same account.

Not for current casino payments. Zimpler moved to bank-login payments from 2018. You now authorise deposits inside your own bank, for example with BankID in Sweden.

TrueLayer, a London-based pay-by-bank network. The acquisition was announced in October 2025 and completed on 3 March 2026 after approval from the Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority.

Yes, at casinos that support Zimpler payouts. The money usually arrives within minutes once the casino has approved your withdrawal.

Zimpler lists Sweden, Finland, Norway, Germany, the Netherlands, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. Its strongest casino markets are Sweden and Finland.

No, they’re competing companies offering similar pay-by-bank services. Zimpler is owned by TrueLayer; Trustly is an independent Swedish company. Both offer registration-free casino onboarding: Zimpler Go and Pay N Play respectively.

Zimpler Go is Zimpler’s registration-free casino product. Your first deposit also verifies your identity through your bank and creates your casino account, so there’s no sign-up form.

Possibly. Zimpler launched Swish payments and payouts for merchants in September 2025, so casinos using Zimpler can offer Swish. Whether a specific casino does depends on that casino.

No, and you shouldn’t try. Zimpler’s casino payments are direct bank payments, and Swedish-licensed casinos are prohibited from offering credit for gambling. Only gamble with money you already have.

Not to players. The casino pays the processing fee. Your bank may charge for currency conversion if your account currency differs from the casino’s.

Yes. It’s a licensed payment institution supervised by Finansinspektionen, payments are authorised inside your bank with strong authentication, and the casino never receives your bank login.

Usually yes. Most casinos treat Zimpler like any other deposit method for welcome offers, but always check the bonus terms for excluded payment methods.
