Nords Casino Review 2026: Genuine MGA Licence, a Shared Record With 21Red

Nords is a Viking-themed casino and sportsbook that launched in 2023. Unlike most casinos we’ve reviewed this year, its licence is the real thing: Nords is run by L.C.S Limited under Malta Gaming Authority licence MGA/B2C/233/2013, held since 2013, and its terms name a free independent dispute service. The caveats are about the group rather than the licence. Casino Guru treats Nords as part of its sister casino 21Red, rated 5.3 out of 10, and self-exclusion at one L.C.S brand doesn’t block you at the others.

Our verdict: a reasonable choice, with caveats. Real EU-level licensing and a proper complaints route. Weigh the group’s mixed record and the €25,000 monthly cap.

Who runs Nords, and is it licensed?

Yes, by the Malta Gaming Authority. Nords’ footer says the casino is licensed through the MGA under licence MGA/B2C/233/2013, issued on 2 July 2013 to L.C.S Limited (company C-64070), of Ta’ Xbiex, Malta, which also operates the site. When we researched sister casino 21Red, the MGA’s licence register listed the same licence as “Licensed”, covering both casino games and sports betting. Our guide to L.C.S Limited casinos covers the whole group.

An MGA licence gives you more than most casinos on this site can offer:

MGA (Nords) Curaçao Anjouan / Tobique
Named, licensed operator Yes Usually Varies
Independent dispute body Yes (MADRE) No No
Player-fund rules Yes Limited Limited
EU-based regulator Yes No No

If a payout is refused, use Nords’ own complaints process first. If that doesn’t resolve it, its terms name MADRE, an independent alternative dispute resolution service, free of charge. That’s a genuine advantage. See our guides to MGA casinos and whether you can sue a casino for not paying out.

An MGA licence still isn’t a Swedish, German or Dutch licence. If you live in a country with its own licensing system, a locally licensed casino keeps national protections such as Spelpaus or OASIS.

Track record: Nords and 21Red share one score

Casino Guru doesn’t keep a separate Nords review: its Nords page redirects to its 21Red review, and the bonuses it lists there include Nords’ exact welcome stages. That review, from September 2026, rates the casino 5.3 out of 10 (“Below average”), a low score for an MGA casino, and notes that it counts complaints about related casinos too.

Of 8 complaints, 6 were rejected and 2 are unresolved: a €13,000 withdrawal withheld and an account-closure request not carried out. One rejected case is worth knowing about: a player who was self-excluded at L.C.S sister sites was still able to register at 21Red (€5,600). Self-excluding at one brand of this group doesn’t block you at the others. If you need to stop, use a national scheme; see our guides on how to ban yourself from gambling and getting help to stop gambling.

Withdrawals and account rules

Daily limit €5,000
Monthly limit €25,000
Deposit wagering Each deposit must be wagered 3 times before withdrawal
Dormant account After 6 months without logging in; €10 monthly fee

Source: Nords’ Terms and Conditions, October 2026.

The €25,000 monthly cap is generous by offshore standards and means a large win takes a few months rather than a year to withdraw. The 3x deposit-wagering rule is less friendly: deposit €100 and you’ll need to bet €300 before you can withdraw it, even without a bonus. Our previous review recorded payment methods including Visa, Mastercard, MuchBetter, Payz, Jeton, AstroPay, Neosurf, Flexepin and CashtoCode, with withdrawals in up to 72 hours. See fast payout casinos, why casinos verify your account, and our guides to MuchBetter, Payz and Neosurf.

The welcome bonus

When we checked from Finland in October 2026, the welcome package was 225% up to €1,500 plus 500 free spins over three deposits. Offers vary by country, so check the amount and terms shown to you:

Deposit Match Free spins
1st 100% up to €250 50 on Big Bass Splash
2nd 75% up to €500 100 on Big Bass Splash
3rd 50% up to €750 350 on Big Bass Splash

The rules: 35x wagering on deposit plus bonus, 35x on free-spin winnings, and 30 days to complete each stage; bonuses must be activated within 30 days and free spins within 7. On a €100 deposit with a €100 bonus, that’s €7,000 in bets, costing about €280 on average at 96% RTP, more than the bonus is worth. Nords also lists weekly cashback, a Monday reload, free-spin days and live casino cashback. See our wagering requirements guide, cashback casinos and no-wagering bonuses.

Games and sportsbook

Our previous review recorded more than 4,000 games from providers including NetEnt, Pragmatic Play, Play’n GO, Yggdrasil, Red Tiger, ELK, Thunderkick, Nolimit City and Endorphina, a live casino from Evolution and Pragmatic Play Live, and a full sportsbook. See our guides to online slots, live dealer casinos and NetEnt casinos.

Pros

  • Malta Gaming Authority licence MGA/B2C/233/2013, held since 2013
  • Free independent dispute service (MADRE) named in the terms
  • €5,000 daily and €25,000 monthly withdrawal limits
  • Casino, live casino and sportsbook in one account
  • Regular cashback and free-spin promotions

Cons

  • Casino Guru rates the shared Nords/21Red record 5.3/10 ("Below average")
  • Two unresolved complaints, including €13,000 withheld
  • Self-exclusion at one L.C.S brand doesn't block the others
  • Deposits must be wagered 3 times before withdrawal
  • 35x deposit + bonus wagering
  • Accounts go dormant after 6 months, with a €10 monthly fee

Who is Nords best for?

Players who want an EU-licensed casino and sportsbook with a real dispute route. For many readers, an MGA licence with MADRE behind it is worth more than a bigger bonus from an offshore site.

Less suited to: anyone who might need self-exclusion to hold across a group of casinos, players who dislike deposit-wagering rules, and bonus hunters. For a group overview, see L.C.S Limited casinos.

Summary

Nords stands out for the right reason: a genuine Malta Gaming Authority licence held by L.C.S Limited since 2013, and a free independent dispute service named in its terms. Withdrawal limits of €5,000 a day and €25,000 a month are fair. But Casino Guru rates Nords and 21Red together at 5.3 out of 10, with a €13,000 complaint unresolved, deposits must be wagered three times, and self-exclusion doesn’t carry across the group. A reasonable choice if licensing matters most to you, but not a top pick. Our review policy explains how we assess casinos, and our list of new casinos has alternatives.

First to Nords’ support. If it isn’t resolved, you can take it to MADRE, the independent ADR service named in the terms, free of charge, and then to the Malta Gaming Authority.

Not automatically. A complaint shows a player self-excluded at sister sites could still register at 21Red. Use a national self-exclusion scheme as well.
