Casombie Casino Review 2026: Good Complaint Record, No Licence We Could Find

Casombie’s zombie theme, achievement shop and big game library made it one of the more memorable casinos of its generation. Its complaint record is also better than you might expect: Casino Guru rates it 8.3 out of 10, and none of its 34 complaints are left unresolved. But like its sister casino QuickWin, Casombie launched under Rabidi N.V., whose Curaçao licence was revoked in 2024, and we couldn’t find a current licence on the Curaçao, Anjouan or Tobique registers. Casino Guru reaches the same conclusion. Several complaints also involve accounts reopened or not blocked after the player asked.

Our verdict: proceed with caution, not one of our recommendations. A good payout record, but no licence we could verify and worrying responsible-gambling complaints.

The licence question

Casombie was launched by Rabidi N.V., which held Curaçao licence OGL/2023/103/0067. Our previous review quoted an older “Curacao E-Gaming Licence No: 8048/JAZ”, a sublicence format from the system abolished in the Curaçao reform. The Curaçao Gaming Authority’s enforcement register (14 September 2026) lists Rabidi’s licence as revoked, effective 11 June 2024. We cover the history in our guide to Rabidi N.V. casinos.

We then looked for a current licence:

  • Curaçao Gaming Authority register (21 September 2026): no Casombie or NovaForge entry.
  • Anjouan Gaming Authority register: no entry for Casombie or NovaForge.
  • Tobique Gaming Commission licence-holder list: no NovaForge entry.
  • Casino Guru (September 2026): owned by NovaForge Ltd and, to its knowledge, “has not obtained a gambling license from any regulator”.

Casombie’s site is blocked in some countries (“not available for your country for legal reasons”), but where it opens, its footer shows only “© Casombie.com” and its General Terms (version 1.12, updated 19 August 2026) refer only to “the company operating the Website”, word for word the same as QuickWin, Joker8, FunBet and Casino Infinity. If it shows a licence where you are, look the number up on the regulator’s own register first. For what a verifiable licence looks like, see our guides to MGA casinos, Kahnawake casinos and Curaçao casinos.

Before you deposit anywhere: a three-minute check

The same checks we used for this review

Step 01

Find the operator

Find the operator and licence number in the casino’s own terms. If there isn’t one, stop there.

Step 02

Check the register

Look the licence up on the regulator’s own register, not just the footer badge, and check the company name matches.

Step 03

Check enforcement

Check the regulator’s enforcement or revocation list for that licence number.

Step 04

Read the limits

Read the withdrawal limits and the bonus calculation base before you accept any offer.

The complaint record: good on payouts, worrying on protection

Casino Guru rates Casombie 8.3 out of 10 (“High”) in its September 2026 review, with “Mixed” user feedback from 16 reviews. Of 34 complaints, 15 were resolved and 19 rejected. None are unresolved, which suggests Casombie generally deals with disputes and pays players.

The list includes withdrawals blocked or delayed (C$1,500, €500, R$1,850), a delayed refund (€4,850) and a double bank deduction (€70). The cases we’d focus on are about responsible gambling:

  • an account reopened without the player’s consent
  • an account not blocked after the player asked (€2,300)
  • an account closed with funds delayed

Two separate complaints about accounts not staying closed is a pattern worth taking seriously. With no regulator identified, nobody independent checks that self-exclusion is honoured. If you need to stop, use a national scheme where one exists, and see our guides on how to ban yourself from gambling and getting help to stop gambling.

Casino Guru also flags that bonus winnings must be withdrawn immediately after wagering is completed, or further winnings can be capped. See what counts as bonus abuse.

Withdrawals

Casombie’s own terms set a maximum of €500 per day and €7,000 per month at the entry VIP level, rising to €1,500 and €20,000 at the top level, and allow no more than three pending withdrawals at once. In a published exchange on Casino Guru, processing was described as taking around ten days. That matches the €500 daily limit we found at sister casino QuickWin. At €500 a day, a €5,000 win takes at least ten days to withdraw. Withdraw steadily rather than leaving a large balance. For better options, see casinos with no withdrawal limits and fast payout casinos.

Casino Guru lists 32 payment methods, including Visa, Mastercard, Skrill, Neteller, Paysafecard, MuchBetter, MiFinity, Revolut, Zimpler, Rapid Transfer and crypto (Bitcoin, Ethereum, Tether, Litecoin and more). Complete identity verification early. See our guides to Skrill, MiFinity, Zimpler, Bitcoin casinos and why casinos verify your account.

Bonuses and the achievement shop

Casombie’s best-known feature is its gamification: players complete in-game achievements to earn coins, which can be swapped in a shop for free spins and bonuses. We checked the current welcome package on Casombie’s site in October 2026: up to €3,000 plus 300 free spins over four deposits (100% up to €1,000 + 50 spins, 70% up to €500 + 50 spins, 50% up to €1,000 + 50 spins, and 150% up to €500 + 150 spins). The rules are 35x wagering on deposit plus bonus, 40x on most free-spin winnings, 14 days to complete each stage and a €100 maximum bet. Skrill and Neteller deposits don’t qualify, and the amount you can release from a bonus is capped at ten times the bonus. On a €100 deposit with a €100 bonus, that’s €7,000 in bets, costing about €280 on average at 96% RTP. Our wagering requirements guide shows how to work out what any offer will cost you; for simpler deals see no-wagering bonuses.

Games

Our previous review recorded 4,000+ games and 50+ live tables from providers including NetEnt, Play’n GO, Pragmatic Play, Nolimit City, ELK Studios, Push Gaming, Quickspin, Yggdrasil, Evolution and Ezugi. See our guides to NetEnt casinos, Nolimit City casinos and live dealer casinos.

Casombie’s sister casinos include QuickWin, Casino Infinity and KinBet, all former Rabidi brands now linked to the same network.

Summary

Casombie behaves better than its licence situation would suggest: Casino Guru rates it 8.3/10, and none of its 34 complaints are unresolved. But it launched under Rabidi N.V., whose Curaçao licence was revoked in 2024, and neither we nor Casino Guru could find a current licence. Two complaints about accounts not staying closed, and withdrawal limits of €500 a day, complete a picture we can’t recommend. Our casino blacklist and review policy explain how we assess casinos, and our guide on whether you can sue a casino for not paying out covers disputes.
