Moana Casino Review 2026: Very Low Safety Rating and a Shifting Operator
Moana Casino launched in March 2025 with a bright island theme, more than 7,500 games and welcome bonuses that ran into the thousands of euros. The headline numbers hide two things worth knowing before you deposit. First, its safety record is poor, with unresolved complaints about confiscated winnings and an ignored request to block an account. Second, the company behind it is hard to pin down. Casino Guru names Famagousta B.V., the casino’s footer names a Costa Rican company, and on the Curaçao register the name “Famagousta B.V.” has moved from one licence to another in the past year. Casino Guru rates its safety 2.7 out of 10. Our verdict: avoid. A very low safety rating, unresolved confiscation complaints, an ignored request to block an account, and an operator that’s hard to identify.

Who runs Moana Casino?
Three different company names are attached to Moana, and they don’t line up neatly.
1. Casino Guru: Famagousta B.V. Casino Guru lists Famagousta B.V. as both owner and operator.
2. The casino’s footer: Green Champions Leader S.R.L. The footer of Moana’s own site (currently served from moanacasino26.com) says the brand and its rights belong to Green Champions Leader S.R.L., a Costa Rica company. Moana’s Terms and Conditions refer only to “the Operator” and don’t name a licensed company or licence number.
3. The Curaçao register: a name that moved. We compared two editions of the Curaçao Gaming Authority’s licence register:
| Licence | September 2025 register | 21 September 2026 register |
|---|---|---|
| OGL/2023/155/0098 | Famagousta B.V. (company 152449) | Goodfly N.V. (company 152449) |
| OGL/2024/570/0396 | Carrer N.V. (company 150421) | Famagousta B.V. (company 150421) |
In other words, the company numbers stayed the same but the names swapped: company 150421 went from “Carrer N.V.” to “Famagousta B.V.”, while the company that used to carry the Famagousta name (152449) is now “Goodfly N.V.” Both licences are currently “assessment in progress”, a common status on the Curaçao register right now, and neither is on the enforcement register. Name changes like this aren’t illegal, but they make it much harder for a player to know which company, and which licence, actually stands behind the casino. Our Curaçao casino guide explains how to check a licence, and why the licence holder’s name should match the operator in the casino’s own terms. Compare that with MGA casinos, where operator and licence are always stated and checkable.
Withdrawal limits
Moana’s current terms (section 7.12) allow withdrawals of up to:
| Limit | Amount |
|---|---|
| Withdrawals per day | €5,000 |
| Withdrawals per month | €25,000 |
We found no daily or lifetime cap on net winnings in the current terms. Casino Guru still lists older, stricter figures: €1,000 a day, €7,000 a month, €5,000 in net winnings a day and €50,000 over the account’s lifetime. Sister casino Frenzino loosened its limits in the same way. Moana’s bonus terms add more caps: winnings from cashback and loyalty bonuses are limited to 5x the bonus amount. Even so, a €100,000 jackpot would take four months to withdraw at €25,000 a month. See casinos with no withdrawal limits and our guide to best payout casinos.
Complaints and safety rating
Casino Guru rates Moana 2.7 out of 10 (“Very low”). Of 7 complaints, 4 are unresolved, 1 resolved and 2 rejected:
- a withdrawal denied (€1,200)
- a request to block the account ignored (€1,000)
- winnings confiscated (€449, €1,581 and 2,250 kr)
- a withdrawal delayed (€500)
- an account closed after being blocked (€400)
Three confiscations in seven complaints is a high share. The ignored block request is the most concerning: asking a casino to block your account is often a player’s first step towards stopping, and it should never be ignored. If you need to stop, use a national self-exclusion scheme and see our guides on how to ban yourself from gambling and getting help to stop gambling. Casino Guru flags these terms:
- Bets below a set threshold can lead to confiscated winnings.
- Playing restricted games during wagering can forfeit the bonus.
- Using the Martingale strategy can lead to confiscated winnings.
- “Common bonus hunting strategies” can count as a serious violation.
The Martingale rule is broad: doubling your stake after a loss is a common habit, not just a system. See what counts as bonus abuse and our guide on whether you can sue a casino for not paying out.
Who can play, and the regulated-market problem
Moana’s terms only bar residents of a short list of places: the Dutch Caribbean islands (including Curaçao), the UAE, Brunei, Cambodia, North Korea, Japan and Qatar. Our previous review listed dedicated welcome bonuses for Germany, Sweden and Finland, all countries with their own licensing systems in which Moana isn’t licensed. Playing there means losing protections like OASIS and LUGAS (Germany) or Spelpaus (Sweden), and for Swedish players, winnings from casinos licensed outside the EU/EEA can be taxable.
Bonuses
When we checked from the Netherlands on 7 October 2026, Moana showed the same package as its sister casino Frenzino. Offers can vary by country.
| Deposit | Bonus | Maximum | Free spins |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1st | 150% | €1,500 | 150 |
| 2nd | 100% | €5,000 | |
| 3rd | 3 per €1 deposited |
Wagering is 35x the deposit plus bonus within 30 days, and the bonus terms set a €5 maximum bet while a bonus is active. Moana also runs a sports bonus of up to €150, a €20 free bet and a crypto bonus of up to 1 BTC. At our previous review (April 2025), the first-deposit offer for most countries was 305% up to €1,200. On a €100 deposit with a €150 bonus, 35x deposit plus bonus means €8,750 in bets, costing around €350 on average at 96% RTP, more than the bonus is worth. Add the Martingale rule and the confiscation complaints, and this is a bonus to decline. Our wagering requirements guide shows the maths; for simpler alternatives, see no-wagering bonuses.
Games and payments
Moana reports 7,500+ games from 90+ providers, a live casino and a sportsbook. Our previous review recorded Visa, Mastercard, bank transfer, Skrill, Neteller, Jeton, MiFinity, Zimpler, Paysafecard, Neosurf and crypto (Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, USDT), with a €25 minimum deposit, a €30 minimum withdrawal and no fees. The site’s footer currently also shows CASHlib, Flexepin and Bitcoin Cash. See our guides to MiFinity, Skrill, Flexepin and Bitcoin casinos.
Pros
- Large game library with live casino and sportsbook
- Wide range of payment methods, including vouchers and crypto
- A Curaçao licence is held under the Famagousta B.V. name
Cons
- Casino Guru Safety Index of 2.7/10 (“Very low”)
- 4 of 7 complaints unresolved, including three confiscations
- A request to block an account was ignored
- Operator unclear, and the licence-holder name moved between companies
- Martingale and similar rules that can void winnings
- Targets players in Germany, Sweden and Finland without a local licence
- Served from a numbered mirror domain
Summary
Moana looks generous, with a large game library and withdrawal limits that are now reasonable at €5,000 a day and €25,000 a month. But the company behind it is unclear, with different names in Casino Guru’s records, the site footer and the Curaçao register, where the “Famagousta B.V.” name has moved between licences. Casino Guru rates its safety 2.7 out of 10, and four of seven complaints are unresolved. We don’t recommend Moana. If you want a large game library, start with our MGA casinos and Kahnawake casinos pages, and see our casino blacklist and review policy. Sources checked 5 October 2026: Moana Casino footer, Terms and Conditions and Bonus Terms (moanacasino26.com); Curaçao Gaming Authority licence registers (September 2025 and 21 September 2026) and enforcement register (14 September 2026); Casino Guru Moana Casino review and complaint record. Bonus amounts marked “at our last review” are from the April 2025 version of this page.
FAQ: Moana Casino
We don’t recommend it. Casino Guru rates its safety 2.7/10 (“Very low”), four of its seven complaints are unresolved, and the company behind it is unclear.
Casino Guru lists Famagousta B.V. The site’s footer names Green Champions Leader S.R.L., a Costa Rica company. The terms don’t name a licensed operator.
A Curaçao licence (OGL/2024/570/0396) is held under the name Famagousta B.V., with its renewal in progress. A year earlier, the Famagousta name was on a different licence and company, which is now called Goodfly N.V.
None in the current terms. Casino Guru still lists €5,000 in net winnings per day and €50,000 over the lifetime of your account, but those caps no longer appear in Moana’s terms.
€5,000 per day and €25,000 per month, according to Moana’s current terms.
When we checked from the Netherlands in October 2026: 150% up to €1,500 + 150 free spins on the first deposit, then 100% up to €5,000, with 35x wagering on deposit plus bonus within 30 days. The maximum bet with an active bonus is €5. Offers can vary by country.
No. Moana’s terms allow winnings to be confiscated if you use the Martingale strategy.
The site doesn’t bar either country, but Moana holds no Swedish or German licence, so you’d lose protections such as Spelpaus or OASIS. We don’t recommend it.
Our previous review listed Frenzino, TiktakBet, Nalu, Playfast and Sombrero Spins.
